Virtual Learning
  • On July 9, 2021, Governor Newsom signed into law AB 130 which made some changes to Independent Study. For the 2021-2022 school year, AUSD is required to inform parents of their option to enroll their student in in-person instruction or Independent Study.  It is also important for parents to know they can request a student-parent-educator conference meeting prior to enrolling their student to discuss their enrollment options and ask any questions they may have regarding instructional models.
